Social and Cultural Issues:
  • Sexism/Oppression: As a group, women have experienced some degree of oppression in many cultures throughout history. This discrimination and unfair treatment, which still occurs today, can stifle the growth, development, and general well-being of women around the world.
  • Abuse/Intimate partner violence: Women are statistically more likely to be victims of abuse and intimate partner violence. Surviving these types of abuse may influence the development of depression, PTSD or anxiety.
  • Inter-racial dating/marriage:  learn how to protect your relationship from negativity.

Services: The primary focus of my psychotherapy practice is on the distinct and unique needs and challenges of individuals, specifically women of color, who have struggled with depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem  in their lives and are wanting help to alleviate the discomfort.

Length of sessions: Sessions are 50 minutes long. In some cases, depending on your needs, we can arrange to meet for longer sessions, or for multiple sessions during the week, if we decide together that that would be important and helpful.

Frequency of therapy: We will be meeting weekly, or more frequently if we decide that would be helpful. Consistency in sessions allows for progress and provides time to develop a solid foundation under you-creating a sense of safety in doing the hard work of therapy.

Length of therapy: The length of our work together will be a question we revisit over time, and depends both on what your goals. Therapy is most efficient when we allow it to happen organically, rather than try to make it happen, so; healing is defined by the uniqueness of one’s struggle, not by our own ideas about timeline. Therapy does take time, but does not take forever, so we will keep an eye on your goals, assess how close to them you are to reaching them, and then celebrate when they have been met. You are welcome to change your goals as needed.

Office Location: My physical office is located in the Round Rock and sessions are held remotely/teletherapy*  due to COVID-19

Payment: Is due upon services and I accept payment in the form of major credit cards or electronic funds transfer via Ivy Pay.
Initial Intake (50  minutes) $185-300
Individual therapy (50 minutes) $185-250
Group $55-60

Therapy is an investment towards yourself-you may initially struggle with investing in yourself-wondering if you are worth it and YES! You are worth every bit. I understand that it requires a lot of time, energy, and money to get to where you want to be in your life. I am happy to have a conversation about this and welcome it throughout our therapeutic journey. That’s why I make sure that I provide the highest quality of care. Reimbursement for services should be viewed as a bonus, not a financial necessity in order to participate in services with me.
I am deeply committed to curating a customized-one of a kind treatment plan for each client so that they can focus getting their needs met and achieve their goals. I will maintain accountability and help you reach each goal while providing support & encouragement along the way.
About Insurance: I am happy to provide an itemized receipt that you can submit to your company. I do not, however, bill your company directly. In my practice, I do not contract with any insurance company panels, or with Medicaid/Medicare or supplemental plans. *services provided remotely, location varies offered in Texas. You are responsible for contacting your insurance to explore your plan benefits and submitting the claims to your insurance for reimbursement.

Please note payment is due upon services and any cancellations require 48 hour notice otherwise are billed for full session rate.
