Frequently Asked Questions
How often are the sessions?
We will be meeting weekly, or more frequently if we decide that would be helpful. Consistency in sessions allows for progress and provides time to develop a solid foundation under you, creating a sense of safety in doing the hard work of therapy.
How long are the sessions?
Each session is 45 minutes long. Additional time may be added to your session with notice at a different rate. Please note I am not an EAP provider.
How long will my healing take?
Healing is defined by the uniqueness of one’s struggle, not by our own ideas about timeline. Therapy does take time, but does not take forever, so we will keep an eye on your goals, assess how close to them you are to reaching them, and then celebrate when they have been met. You are welcome to change your goals as needed.
How does payment work?
Payment is due upon services. I accept payment in the form of major credit cards or electronic funds transfer via Ivy Pay. Any session cancellations require 48 hour notice. Otherwise you are billed for the full session rate.
10% of all proceeds goes towards empowering young girls and womxn around the world.
Refer to the Good Faith Estimate disclaimer for more information on payment. Please note I am not an Employee Assistance Program Provider. Emotional Support Animal Letters are billed at $200-250/letter.
Do you work with insurance?
In my practice, I do not contract with any insurance company panels, or with Medicaid/Medicare or supplemental plans. You are responsible for contacting your insurance to explore your plan benefits and submitting the claims to your insurance for reimbursement.
I am happy to provide an itemized receipt that you can submit to your company. I do not, however, bill your company directly.
